At a Corporate Social Responsibility Conference in Philadelphia (where my agency was a major sponsor)
I struck up a conversation with the Levi’s Global Communications Director. I told him “If Levi’s ever announces organic cotton jeans, we’re going to have to be the agency for it.” He smiled and asked if we had seen that morning’s Wall Street Journal.
Five weeks later, these posters (hand done on organic cotton paper) arrived at the client’s offices.
The product never quite launched. But I was never more proud of an effort.
