HOW OKLAHOMA CITY FELL IN LOVE

WITH A USED CAR LOT.


    People who have to buy from “buy-here, pay-here” lots feel like losers with nowhere else to go.

    Talking to a used car lot staff, in three days of multi-sensory culture and psychological discovery,
I uncovered so much untapped potential for human goodness, we had to set it free.
    I named it The KEY.

    And birthed a culture of compassion, support, education and more.
   In six months, they went from one lot to four, got churches and social organizations to partner with them, banks offered low and free loans to expand and the public came in droves to hang out in the spaces and hug the employees.
